1. How did you get into your role?
I applied online at channel4.com to cover a maternity leave in the C4 marketing department, I got the job and did it for a year. This meant I was in the right place at the right time to hear about the role at Box TV (Box TV is a JV between Channel 4 and Bauer Media). However I still had to officially apply and after about 7months freelancing and an interview or three I was made permanent.
2. What do you love about your job?
Working with two things I love; TV and Music.
3. What advice would you give someone looking to get into TV?
Be patient and willing to work for free to make contacts, make yourself indispensible and you’ll get a job.
4. If you could do any other job what would it be?
A dancer.
