1. How did you get into your role?
Turned up for the interview! Actually I had been working in radio compliance for 6 years.
2. What do you love about your job?
The chance to say NO! OK I lied, but that is fun sometimes. It’s all about trying to find solutions to things that most people would say no to and the chance to take a risk
3. What advice would you give someone looking to get into TV?
Make sure you take the plug off first – electricity is really dangerous. Despite being a visual medium it’s all about listening. If you’re starting out and someone is showing you how to do a job, act like a sponge and soak it all up. Remember never be afraid to ask a question. It’s better that you ask than spend hours after making a mistake, trying to sort it out
4. If you could do any other job what would it be?
Is there any other job worth doing? I suppose I did always want to be a pilot when I was younger, failing that, professional lottery winner.
